Have you ever noticed
Not only does it get lost on the huge span of wall,
but it simply cannot handle two kids and towels
without looking like a massive mound of terrycloth.
This easy solution was repurposed from a piece of crown moulding from a client's remodel.
The 45 degree angles give some dimension to its 6 ft length.
I used some fun rustic hangers from Hobby-Lobby,
and attached to the wall with long sheet rock screws.
Before and After
Hello Aimee, I love your towel rack, it is delightful and one of a kind. My heart is always attracted to uniqueness. I hate cookie cutter homes. I love those watercolors above it too. Did you paint them?

DeleteI really like your towel rack. I've thought of making one because we live in Florida and go through a lot of towels. This is a wonderful inspiration proving it can be easily accomplished. I saw your link at Dwellings: Amaze Me Monday.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and fun, Aimee. I LOVE it! ~ Nancy
