"Boo"

It has been three years since we were able
to decorate for Halloween with all our moving.
So what fun it was to unpack my orange and black bins
and see what it was I stored away so many moons ago.
The thing my now twelve year old missed the most were
the spooky spiders she remembered from our old home.
So we got them out and "spooked" up our new home a bit.

My twelve year-old was in charge of the webs and had a blast.
We kept it simple and fun.
And were so surprised to see a note on our door a few days later....

We had been "BOO'd" by someone in our neighborhood!
My girls were thrilled and we returned the favor a couple
days later to two other neighbors under the cover of darkness!

Fun traditions that make it feel like home.
There are many "Boo" templates on the internet.
This one came from The TomKat Studio and had instructions as well.
It's not too late to make a neighbor's week--Boo Someone today!
