Vintage Jewelry Armoire

I was obsessed as a little girl...
with anything miniature.

I would sit for hours as a child,
designing and redesigning the rooms
in my wooden four bedroom dollhouse..

My love for interiors was definately influenced
by "making" little cutout pictures from magazines for the walls...
or little wastebaskets out of toothpaste lids.

So you can imagine when I discovered this treasure...
my heart skipped a beat...
A vintage jewelry armoire.
{And perfect to scale for an American Girl sized doll.}

I wanted to freshen it up,
so I set about painting it white and used a dark wax finish.
I removed the orange "glass panes" and switched them out for a clear plastic instead.
Love my new armoire!
