Everything has a new home in our new home.
The shutter buffet that was in my dining room in the last home,
now graces our entryway in our new home.
Come on in...let's visit.
This is the view from my front door...welcome!
The big arched window I salvaged from an old Post Office remodel in Auburn, AL,
did not have a feature place in our last home because the ceilings were not high enough.
It now rests perfectly over the buffet and gives scale to the 20 ft ceiling space in the entry.
This beautiful Aiden Gray lamp was a
house warming gift from my mother-n-law...I love its chippy elegance.
Chippy buffet, chippy window...chippy lamp.
(How'd she know I'd love it?)
My handmade burlap wreath graces the arched window for Fall...
...made from a wreath ring, burlap ribbon and cream floral berries.
Harvested pine cones and deer antlers fill a long basket on the shelf...
(The vintage, worn Asian basket-a gift from my mother.)
Simple textures and colors.
Feels like Fall.
